Friends of Sumi-e's presents the 21st Annual Japanese Brush Painting Spring Exhibition (formerly for Takasumi-e) live in Balboa Park.
We celebrate the Year of the Dragon with Sumi-e painting demonstrations, live Japanese Shakuhachi flute, Koto music performances, Odori Dancers, a textile exhibit and Tea Ceremony.

2023 - "THE YEAR OF THE RABBIT" FALL ART EXHIBITION
Friends of Sumi-e's presents the 48th Annual Japanese Brush Painting Fall Exhibition (formerly for Washu-Kai) live in Balboa Park.
We celebrate the Year of the Rabbit with Sumi-e painting demonstrations, live Japanese Shakuhachi flute and Koto music performances, a textile exhibit and Tea Ceremony.
